TOPOGRAPHICAL BEARING
I went back to my mountain roots for one of my favorite animals in the world, the bear. I’ve probably drawn a few too many in my time, and I wanted to mess around with creating the tones and textures of this majestic creature using topographical mapping patterns. Can I say I was mapping out its ursine essence? Have I lost my artistic direction? Are my puns becoming unbearable? I’ll let you be the judge.
Drawn on Procreate, this download is a print-ready PDF file. It is composed as a full bleed, full resolution image you can print on letter size paper to fit a standard 8 x 10” frame. Larger prints may result in lower resolutions and sizing. (Framed image is for demonstration purposes only. This download does not come with a frame.)
